Imagining and creating new possibilities for the future of DanceSport
Our Vision
We dream of an inclusive dance world in which all dancers are equally welcome and traditional roles are no longer a barrier. Dancing should unite, not exclude.
That's why we promote an environment in which everyone can dance freely - regardless of who they are or what role they play in dance.

The people behind Queering Dancesport
Giulia Settomini and Val Meneau have been collaborating on research and artistic projects that challenge gender norms in Latin DanceSport since they met in 2020. A combination of Giulia's expertise in choreography with Val's academic background in gender and queer studies has resulted in acclaimed presentations at international conferences and daring performances that explore what else Latin DanceSport could be. Together, they blend artistic practice with academic inquiry.
